Botanic Flavor Bakehouse stems from Melissa Dein's passion for baking, plants, and science. With a background in food science and flavor chemistry, particularly on the aroma of edible plants, Melissa appreciates nature's diverse flavors. She believes in using unique plants and natural ingredients to infuse flavor directly into foods, rather than recreating flavors. Inspired to share these natural flavors, she founded Botanic Flavor Bakehouse, a small-batch bakery dedicated to showcasing nature's complex flavors.
